Message from the Board: 

 

The Chestermere Regional Food Bank has been assisting our community and surrounding area since 2006. Our commitment to supporting our community with dignity, compassion, and collaboration has never been stronger.

Following our strategic planning session on May 30, 2025, we are proud to share a renewed vision for the future of CRFB-one rooted in community resilience, equitable access to nourishment, and meaningful partnerships.

Over the next three years, our Strategic Plan will serve as a guiding framework for growth, innovation, and impact.

Built on the real experiences of our clients, volunteers, partners, and board members, this plan outlines clear priorities that reflect our strengths and respond to the growing needs of the community. These include expanding our physical space, improving food access and nutritional options, enhancing volunteer opportunities, and deepening community awareness and engagement.

We are especially proud of the values that shape every decision we make respect, integrity, compassion, inclusion, equity, and community. These principles not only define how we operate but also reflect the heart of who we are and who we serve.

As a board, we recognize our responsibility to ensure that this plan leads to action and measurable outcomes. That is why we have committed to reviewing the plan quarterly at our regular board meetings. Through these reviews, we will evaluate progress, adapt to changes, and remain accountable to the people we serve. Transparency and responsiveness will remain central to how we lead.
